Alex Papiu is the Chief Scientist at Simulmedia. He began his journey at the company in 2017, building ML-based forecasting models. He leads the Science team focusing on developing cutting-edge optimization and measurement solutions for cross-channel and CTV advertising.

Alex holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, where he studied the combinatorial structure of high-dimensional polyhedra. After graduating, he completed a data science fellowship at Insight. Alex is originally from Romania and resides in New York City.
