Simulmedia Welcomes Ray Carpenter, the Chief Financial Officer for AT&T’s Xandr, to Board

We’re constantly looking for ways to strengthen our internal operations and our governance at Simulmedia, both of which enable the company to be the gold standard for premium video advertising.

In that regard, I am pleased to announce that Ray Carpenter, the Chief Financial Officer for AT&T’s Xandr, has joined Simulmedia’s Board of Directors. Ray will represent AT&T’s position as a Simulmedia investor.

Ray’s background in the confluence of media and technology makes him a valuable addition to what is already a strong board. He has responsibility for all of Xandr’s financial operations, including financial planning, accounting, client financial services, and real estate. He held a similar position with AT&T’s Entertainment Group and before that was a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley in Napa.

Interestingly, Ray played college football for the Sonoma State University Seawolves before getting his MBA from Texas Christian University. Outside of work, Ray serves on the board of 826NYC, a New York based non-profit dedicated to supporting underserved children in creative writing and communication.

I asked Ray what excites him about joining us. Here’s what he had to say. “I am excited to join such a distinguished board and to work with the talented Simulmedia executive team. You and your team have been on the forefront of combining technology, data science and innovation to improve video advertising since 2008 and I am thankful to now be a part of Simulmedia’s continued success.”

A few weeks ago, we welcomed David Levy, who recently left AT&T’s Warner Media, back to the Board. With Ray joining us, Simulmedia is well-positioned to build on its leadership position and meet the needs of a rapidly growing market.
